I have worked in the studio numerous times before, but I have never had the opportunity to shoot 4×5 (and I have also never worked with hot lights until this semester). The process is completely different from anything I have ever done. I find shooting 4×5 to be enjoyable because you have to take the time to make sure everything is set up for your shot perfectly, but what I don’t like is the flexibility to shoot numerous photos without worrying about wasting $5 if you screw up. Here’s a photo I snapped on my point-and-shoot from when Dan and I were working in the studio yesterday-I can’t wait to go back and shoot this digitally with strobes:

oh, I know all about wasting 4×5 film… :(
ps-I’m famous!
